Can Tier 1 HSMP Dependant(Spouse) work?Moving from Ireland

Hi All,

We are planning to Move to UK.My husband has got his Tier 1 Visa already.Me and my husband are both IT Professionals.

1. Is there a time limit within which we should arrive in UK? As we are not planning to move immediately

2. Can dependant(Spouse) of a Tier 1(Gen) HSMP holder work? Are there any hidden restrictions( Like in Ireland). Will I have to apply for any permits or approvals to take up job? or can I take any job from day 1 after arriving there?

3. How is the job market(IT) now?
