WP Query

Hello peeps!

Just a simple WP query that requires some expert attention.

I have been on WP in the previous 3 and a half yrs and changed employers twice already. Now a third Employer has thrown a prospective career opportunity in front of me.

In short, I am seeking change in employment for the third time and I need some updates on the application procedure.

1. Provided all documentation is in order, will i receive WP decision in less than a fortnight?

2. As the HO website states that a WP holder can start working with new Employer as long as FLR is valid but needs a new FLR before the expiry of the current one.

My current FLR is valid until Jan 2008, is it ok if I start working with my new Employer and apply for FLR sometime before Jan 2008 (if required to do so, since I may contemplate on ILR in 6 to 8 months from now).

Your response on this will be highly appreciated.

1. WP decision can be given within 24 hours provided that the form was filled in correctly.
2. After your employer gets the WP you can then get a same day premium service FLR (IED) .
3. You cannot start working for your new employer without a new LTR, as presumably you have a code 2 LTR in your passport which states that any change of employment needs to be authorised.
