Family Visitor - Documents needed

Post by DayDream » Fri Feb 24, 2012 12:56 pm

Hi All

I must first thank everyone who is helping others on this board and it makes this board special.

I'm on Tier1 G visa and I'm planning to invite my dad/mum as family visitor in a month and hence need some help preparing the documents required for the visa.

I will be paying for the flights and they will stay in my flat.

Documents from my end :-

1) Invitation Letter - I will prepare one based on the template here
2) Sponsorship form - Should I use or fill one from the UKBA website, since I'm paying for their flights/accomodation?
3) Payslips - Do i need to send this?
4) Bank statements - I have personal and business bank accounts, should i submit both to prove my earnings and how many months statements?
5) Accomodation - Should i send my tenancy agreement and do i need a letter from my landlord giving his acceptance for my parents accomodation?

What other documents should I send them from my end?

Documents from my parents end :-

please can someone list the documents my parents need to have at their end for the visa application?

Thanks for your help!

See also Sponsoring a general visitor. Also include proof of family relationship and their stong ties to home country.

Hi vinny

Thanks for the links...

Does the rules or requirements mentioned for "sponsoring a general visitor" apply for sponsoring family visitor too? Also am i right to consider myself as sponsor for my parents visit, if I'm intending to provide them accomodation, travel and other costs?
