Can we trace the application date from Application Ref no?

Can we trace the application date from Application Ref no?

I have application reference number for my Tier 1 General Entry clearance (mine was HSMP + Entry Clearance/Tier 1). Can we trace the application date from the application reference number.

Because this is the date I should be used to assess my age for the visa extension.

Dude, points for age will be the same as you got during initial Tier 1 application so you dont really need to "assess" it again
