you don't need to attend an appt within 15 days, just book one within 15 days.

but by looking at the trends on this forum, it seems like its even difficult to find one in 15 days. I am just hoping that this extra load is just because of system unavailable for few days last month and hope to get it to normal in coming days.

yeah i could find too for Tier-1 main application. But for candidate with dependents, it seems its hard to find... just trying is best option even if that means travelling up north from south east.

i just want to understand the worst case scenario.

Scenario: You have to get an appointment for Biometrics for yourself and 1-3 dependents with Premium Service=NO.

What can happen if you are unfortunate to get an appointment for Biometrics? How can you tell UKBA that you tried and its not your fault that you couldn't get an appointment within 15 days even being trying every now and then.

As someone who has gone through the same nightmare recently I can only suggest to be persistent, so keep trying. People cancel and slots may open up. Mornings were the best times for me in getting an appointment. Other forums posts say look at midnight but I've never tried that.

UKBA's online booking system is clearly discriminating against family applicants. I would suggest everyone affected to send out a tough complaint letter/email to UKBACustomerComplaints@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk. If 3 individual applicants can get appointment, why can't they combine 3 5-minute slots to allow a family? And yet they keep on increasing the applicant fee by multitudes without providing decent services to us. I managed to book the last available 19th April slot in Cardiff today. Croydon appeared suddenly in my search, I entered the details and pressed book appointment. On the next screen comes a message that the slot is no more available. What stupid booking system they are using that decide our pains and gains?
