Married to US citizen, live & work in UK need to renew v

Hey all,

I currently have a US visa due to expire in August.

I married a US citizen last year. We both live and work in the UK with eventual plans to move to the US (maybe in 3 years).

However in the short term, I need to renew my US visa.

Should I just go for a visitor visa, or should I be filing I-130 for an immigration based visa? I'm not sure if I'm required to *move* to the US if this is granted?

What's your advice?
