date of entry

Post by juliajules1979 » Thu Mar 01, 2012 5:33 pm

Hiya

I came to the UK as an asylum seeker in 2000 but left and returned home in 2006. In 2009 I returned to the UK on a spouse visa. I've just applied for my BC and I wanted to check that I have put the date correctly.

Where it says please enter the date you first entered the UK and the port of entry, i have put the dat ein 2009 when I came. However will HO think I should have written the 2000 date in?

I did call the helpline who said put the 2009 date in, but one advisor seems to say different to another advisor.

Can any body offer me any advice.

Many thanks
