Awaiting and awaiting

Post by Manu_cal » Sat Apr 27, 2013 10:11 pm

Applied in first week of Jan Biometric in first week of feb money in company account since last week of oct 2012 . Getting worried by looking at some posts about refusals on grounds of not providing phone numbers on contracts . Everything provided as standard application lets see....... Previously thought about applying as a 2 partners with a friend of mine but then decided to do it all by myself . My other friend applied in Feb and got refusal on grounds of not funds . Although she had applied with her own funds. ( I mean no third party) . By the look of things I guess the applications made in sept and oct are being decided now.

i do not understand the new fuss UKBA is making about contact telephone numbers.

i know three friends that got their visas without a landline number on their individual contracts. FACT !

the contracts contained their names, client's address, the name of their boss, the email address of their boss, the services provided and the name of the company. the contract was also signed and dated by both parties.

i want to believe that if a contract had this format, then refusing for the basis of having no contact landline number is plain silly and crazy in my opinion.

Application through Venture Capital Funds

Post by Shinya » Mon Apr 29, 2013 4:37 pm

Hi, I am on PSW visa. My visa is valid till 6/6/13.
Somebody gave me an option to apply through Venture Capital Funds. Has any member of this forum applied through this route? Has anyone got his/her visa granted using this route?
Thank you for taking time to read and reply.

Well, it really isn't surprising tbh. The UKBA hadn't updated that page in months now.

Hi Amelstar,

Please do not be panic. Some people have been waiting since nine months.

Some people have got visas after 7 months and some people got visas after 8 months.

If possible ask your local MP to send letter to UK BA to speed up the process.

Please do not loose confidence and patience. I am also in similar boat like you :).

Refusal Letter

Post by annoyedatukba » Wed May 01, 2013 11:40 am

PSW route Cat D, funds in the uk. I applied on november 15th, biometric letter november 20th, refusal letter april 23rd. Refusal reason, I did not have my name on my website and hence was awarded 0 points for attributes.

I was given the right to appeal, and I appealed on April 26th. Appeal date set for July 30th!!! So more waiting.

Anyone know the success rate of an appeal, or if anyone has been refused cause of a similar reason I would appreciate the feedback.

9 MONTHS no reply yet :(

Post by sad.1 » Thu May 02, 2013 1:16 pm

hi there i have applied on 29 Aug 2012....UKBA send me inquiry about sending them more documents on 5th of March and my lawyer received it on 11th of March.

sent them all the documents they required on 28th March they received it on 3rd of April due to Easter Holidays.

after that there is no reply i just dont know what to do tired of waiting.

they asked me if i have started business then show us the proof of investment which i havent started and they asked me show us the payment which u have received form the person whom u have made trading contract.
well i havent provided him any services but i have provided a letter head of his company mentioning that i was waiting for my visa approval so i can start business.

now this point is actually disturbing me that has my lawyer done the right thing of not any suggestion GUYS?

Visa

Post by roshanvsn » Thu May 02, 2013 1:20 pm

I had the same scenario, re-submitted more documents of Business evidence on 25th March and received my approval yesterday..so be patient, you should get your visa shortly..if all goes well.
Mind, I had an email to submit my Company report which I did immediately and they sent me an acknowledgement too so you are not too far from there.

thanks roshanvsn actually i have sent them the statement mentioning 50k still in the account and a letter from the contractor which mention that i havent provided services yet due to visa issue so do u think is it sufficient?

has my lawyer done the right thing? as i know they have refused peoples with the same reasons but to me they have asked everything which they required which i think is a good luck.

i have provided my CV visiting cards, flyers, bank statement showing 50k (third Party) new declaration letter from contract for mentioning not provided services yet.

Visa

Post by roshanvsn » Thu May 02, 2013 1:32 pm

In my case they asked for Fresh statement,Business plan,Business activity bills etc. which I submitted through my Solicitor. I also added my clients letter saying they are happy with my services and work is still going on. Though I told them No money is been paid yet since contract is not finished yet. I would say wait for some time you look like in right direction so should be all OK in the end.
