Solicitor contacted ho in may and got response 20th June 2017 with complex letter
Contact mp in sept and got response back in October saying HO contacted you in June and you have to wait.
Solicitor sent letter in Dec 17.

Got approval letters today with passport and documents.
Waiting for brp and IHS refund.

Dear guys,

All my prayers answered. After 8 And half months wait I got my visa successfully.

Applied 6th April
Bio 10th may
After 8 months MP chased first time on 13th November
Got Home Office visit on 20th November interview went for 3.5 hours.
Then MP chased second time on Nov 27, home office sent complexity letter.
Then wrote letter on 28th November And 9th December explaining about business loss due to delay.
11th December sent complaint.

Today received visa successfully. Letter dated 18th December. They have also sent my letter which I sent on 28th November 2017.

Now waiting for BRP and ihs refund.

Hope all you guys who are waiting for months.. will get visa soon. God bless you all.

Received letter to submit RTI FPS dated 10/12/2017 and posted them on 20/12/2017

Interview Scheduled: November 2017
Decision Letter Received: 8 January 2018
BRP: Awaiting my self, team mate has received his BRP.
IHS Refund: Both Awaiting

Among regular phone calls, many emails had been sent to HO while awaiting for the application, and the response had been usual that complex application and not yet been processed, need to wait.
Would like to thank everyone on the forum for the informative updates and discussion surrounding this complicated Visa.
Anyone expecting an interview, please do not be scared of the interview, it is the same questions that have been mentioned on the forum many times. The interview lasts about 1.5 -2.5 hours that also only because the interviewer writes the answers by hand hence depends on their speed, and that also gives you plenty of time to think what you are going to say and to change any statements if you are unsure.

-02/12/2017, bio entry given in post office
- No any further requirement for documents or interview
-17/01/2018, home office confirmed letter was post

Decision: Still waiting .... Home Office has taken 11 months already.

Very confuse for this delay as the interview went really well and i and interviewer looked quite satisfied.

I do not know what is the reason for this delay and how can i come out of this depression.

Got reply letter 09/11/2017:
We can confirm applications are in the process of being considered, however, we are unable to provide you with a timescale.
Sent a followup letter attached with documents showing reason to travel therefore expedite the process 13/12/2017
Got reply letter on 17 Jan 2018 Please note that your case is currently with the appropriate casework team and a decision will be made as soon possible.
Did formal complaint via email during waiting for reply of letter (13/12/2017) on 11/01/2018

Then no response
Involved Mp twice didnt help emailed complaints faxed(answer complex checks)
Partner varied on 10th jan 2018 at sheffield
I got approval on 27th jan 2018 letter dated 25th january.
Waiting for Brp and IHS refund.

It's been 7 months already and from what I've read here it's very common for Home Office to review an application for months and months.
