Bank Statement - Is this Acceptable?

Post by anitas » Wed Mar 07, 2012 9:12 pm

Hello everyone,

I have a question to ask. I went to the bank today to request for a few months worth of bank statements for my visa application. They printed off the statements from the system, with my name, account number, sort code and details of every transaction. They then stamped on every page.

My question is - is this acceptable? It does not have my address on it even though it contains all other details plus official stamps.

Please help and thank you kindly.

Anita

Hi anitas

If they have stamped the printouts then these are considered as originals.

I bank with Natwest as well and they have recently stopped stamping the in branch printouts. However the printouts they provide have all the required details such as customer address, account number, branch address and time and date of the print out. So, I submitted the in branch printouts for my e-ISA statements as well.

If you can get one or two originals and the rest are printouts that are stamped, it should be ok
