all those who apply for naturalisation need to satisfy the knowledge of language and life in the UK requirement unless exempt due to age or incapacity. Your EEA nationality is irrelevant.owobaba wrote:Hi, if an EEA national want to apply for naturalisation as

what if the EEA national has a degree in UK university, because some with ESOL are exempted from the test.Greenie wrote:all those who apply for naturalisation need to satisfy the knowledge of language and life in the UK requirement unless exempt due to age or incapacity. Any qualifications are irrelevant unless they are ESOL. Surely if the national has a degree from a UK university they will be able to sit the test. Everyone needs to take it, there is no way to go around it, unless as stated in the above post-incapacity, age and ESOL (which I think has to be a specific course incorporating elements of life in the UK).owobaba wrote:what if the EEA national has a degree in UK university, because some with ESOL are exempted from the test.Greenie wrote:all those who apply for naturalisation need to satisfy the knowledge of language and life in the UK requirement unless exempt due to age or incapacity.
