I think vinny has replied before.

Evidence that you are economically active in the UK in employment or self-employment or both. The evidence should take the form of documents showing your personal earnings (if you are employed) or business accounts (if you are self-employed).

I think that they want to confirm that you satisfied the requirements under the immigration rules for a highly skilled migrant, a work permit holder, a innovator, a self-employed lawyer or a writer, composer or artist, prior to switching to Tier 1. These are the categories that may be included in the qualifying period leading to settlement.

So what documents need to be shown to prove it? I thought all the documents that need to be submitted were related to the last 12 months from the date of the ILR application.

For 11L:You can provide the original HSMP approval letter and especially the original Tier-1 Points Summary Document which you were given at the time of Tier-1 Extension.
