Tier 1 Extension

Hello All
Have benefited immensely from this website and all the great peoples experience.

I am the wife and the current Main Tier 1 holder
Have extension at end of the year

Question
We are planning to have a baby and I will have to stop working end of 2012 .

I might not be earning from 2013 Jan to 2014 Dec
do I need to prove earnings for years 2013 and 2014 to get ILR ?

please do let me know

There are exceptions for maternity related work absence which is 1 year max...so i guess you will need to be working a year before that to get points for earnings
