Switzerland Work Permit Query

Hi,

I need a small clarification.
My employer in India wants me to apply for work permit for Switzerland. My query is, is there any eligibility criteria for Swiss WP which states that I should have been employed with my current employer for atleast 12 months before applying for WP.

Please help.

I am from non-EU country and currently do not hold any WP.

Don't know the requirements. Is your employer not helping you with this? I would suggest you start here:
