Using Maiden name in visa application

Post by april_28 » Sat Mar 24, 2012 1:10 pm

Hi there I just want to ask I recently obtain COS indicating my maiden name and I recently got married and now Im due on filing my tier 2 visa. Is it possible for me to use my maiden name on visa application even though Im married?

Thank you.

Have you changed your name elsewhere- for example on your passport or with your bank etc?do you intend on taking your married name or using your maiden name in the long term?

@ Manci

My passport still has my maiden name on it..

@ Greenie

No I haven't done it yet all my valid documents were under my maiden name. Im just concern because someone told me not to change my status upon visa application even though Im married so I wont be refused but I think thats wrong.
