Payslip evidence for Tier 1 extension

Can anyone please explain the meaning of the below statement from the Tier 1 guidance.

If the applicant provides payslips, they must cover the whole period claimed (for example, if payslips are produced monthly, the applicant must provide the payslip for each month of the period claimed).

Does this mean I cannot produce march payslip(PEO appointment on 28-mar-2012) if my period of earnings is from 15-Jun-2011 to to 28-Mar-2012 (as my march payslip covers the whole period claimed but also covers 3 extra days)

3 extra days are fine, you can include march payslip
