Hi Folks, First of all many thanks to every active member of this forum as definately helps dealing with such a dept with all the feedbacks and experiences shared! Am Canadian pppt holder (naturalised citizen) and I applied on Mar14 in person for ILR after completing 5 years on HSMP/ Tier 1 (JR for getting approval letter before November 06, 2007). After my arrival on April 08, 2007, I had to go to India (my home country) for few reasons as my household stuff was first moved to India as I was not sure how big or kind off accomodation we will land up in, I had to undergo 1 course relate to my profession in order to upgrade my skills, on top of all that I fell ill (got medical certificate etc) for 25 days, to make it short I was out in India for 127 days on that first visit and came back on Aug 19th 2007. After that only visit didnt had any kind off issue. All the finances, job, work, taxes, etc. are up to date. We (myself and 3 dependent) applied in person but after not given oppurtunity to discuss or one to one meeting (which I was expecting and prepared) with CW, After getting in waited for our number to be called and later at counter the lady took form and ppts and spent about 15-20 minutes and asked us to wait for biometric turn. Then, number was called and asked to submitt all the documents at counter and wait for another 2 hours minimum. Later at about 3 PM number was called and lady at counter handed me this letter which says some further enquiries to be made etc and said will send the decision letter etc by post. I have been waiting anxiously till then.. My Tier 1 will be expiring on april 8th 2012 so I was wondering what are all possible decision sin my case so that i can be prepared for the worst? If I get refsal after the Tier 1 expiry date, am I eligible to apply for another extension?
