Tier 1 extension - how long is immidately?

Post by ldbright » Thu Mar 29, 2012 3:43 pm

On UKBA's website, for maintenance found over all summary, it states that
'All evidence must be dated no more than 1 month before the application is submitted.'

however, under the "Personal bank or building society statements" part, it stated that:
"Personal bank or building society statements covering the 3-month period immediately before the application"

My question is: will the 1 month old rule apply to personal bank statement part? Or HO stresses the work 'immediately' which means it can not be more than couple of days old?

My PEO appoint is on 02/April and my bank statement is up to 15/Mar, can this statement still be qualified as 'immediate before the application'?

Please can some one help me with my question.

Thanks thanks thanks!

Thanks guys, mine is 19 days old, so hope they are ok.

It is just weird that HO specified 'immediately' under the bank statement section separately as I think 'immediately' is more likely to be within a week.

by that they mean the 3 month period just before you apply, not any other 3 month block, like say from the start date of your existing visa or from somewhere in the middle. if they leave out the immediately word then applicants will submit maintenance fund claims for any 3 month period preceding application date

In case of those who plan to submit the regular monthly statements received over last one year, I remember forming an understanding that only the last monthly statement need to be less than a month before application.

Is this not true? Do we need to get an adhoc statement for whole year at the time of application?

Thanks,
nks

your understanding is right, only the last statement has to be ad-hoc if the last scheduled postal statement will not reach you in time for your application
