Returning to the UK after a tourist visa has expired

hey, quick question.
My girlfriend would like to come to the UK, and she will do so by staying here for 6 months on a tourist visa.
my question is,

When her visa runs out, how long will she have to wait before she can get another tourist visa, so she can return to the UK?

[you have posted in the wrong section of the forum. This section is for applications under EEA regulations]

You are allowed to stay in the UK upto 6 months in a 12 months period so if she stay 6 months, she will need to wait 6 months until the next visit.
