Was I right to understand that it is up to the British mission abroad to decide whether they accept my application or not?
Could you pls tell me if I apply for a uk visitor visa from Cyprus being married to UK citizen already will I be able to transfer this one to a spouse visa in the UK?

No - u cannot switch from a visit visa

Thanks for your reply. Does it mean that after getting married abroad I'll have to return to my country of residence to apply for a spouse visa? Or there is some other way? Did I get it wright that it's up to the British mission abroad to decide weather they allow me to apply for a settlement visa from the country of not my residence or not?
