Visa application after expiry of BRP

Hello,

My partner applied for Global talenet visa stage 1 and stage 2, before the expiry of current visa. Her current visa expired on 14th July. Today, she received the decision from the endorsement body that her endorsement application is rejected (stage 1). The rejection on endorsement has come 5 days after the expiry of current visa. My partner has her biometric appointment scheduled for GTV stage 2 application next week. Since her endorsement application is reject, her visa will also get rejected. We have another option that she can apply as a dependent visa as I have ILR.

What should we do now? Should we make another application for dependent visa while the stage 2 GTV is still in process?
