Visa application check

Any idea and information about checking your visa application. At first when you are EU and make Visa application, you get get reply on email to use European family permit to register and you get TLS
Contact with Gwf number to check the progress of the application but now you cannot find it anymore and it directs you to the GOV.UK . can someone help if they got any information please. Thanks
