Visa application on Hold due to Pending Prosecution

Post by csdischal » Wed Feb 26, 2014 6:58 pm

Hi,

I have been on police bail since January 2013 without charge pending investigation. In december 2013 I applied for a switch from Tier 2 visa to spouse visa which was put on hold as the national police computer showed my status as "pending prosecution". However, after reading through many of the sites, it seems that since I have not been charged yet my status should not be shown as "pending prosecution". Can someone please help in advising if there is any way to confirm whey my status is showing pending prosecution without being charged and how I can get this changed so that my visa application can be progressed.

Thank you.
