visa application

Hi,
I am mother to a british baby, living with my partner am on a student visa but my visa is about to run out i and my partner want to apply for me a vusa here to remain cuz we can't afford to be apart, but we are not marriade.
I will like to know what type of visa i should apply for, my partner is supporting my visa appiliction so do i stand a chance to be given a visa.
