A person has a 6months UK tourist visa from the USA and also wishes to visit relatives (IRISH CITIZEN)in Ireland for 3,4 days only is it possible to get a short-term tourist visa at an airport in Dublin or Cork(he is travelling with USA citizen child), when the traveller proves that he is visiting Irish relatives, and he has American green card and can prove all necessary document at the airport like school letter, work letter. How likely can he refuse entry?

There is no such thing as visa at airport. If they are from a visa-required country, they will need a visa before they can board a plane. Airlines will be subject to hefty fines if they let a person get onto a plane without a visa.

What is the nationality of that person? Quite a few countries’ citizens should be able to use a UK Visitor Visa to travel to Ireland.

If this person is from a visa required country, they won't be let on a plane to Ireland, most likely - visa is checked by the airlines pretty often (since they will be liable for the cost to return the person if they don't have necessary documents).

Very likely, if a visa required national. If not a visa required national, still need the documents but they might as well be let in.
