Visa endorsment

Hi,

My friend just got his Tier 4 student visa. He applied alongside his wife. As he is going to study English course therefore his wife could not work according to new rules. In addition, his visa is 10 months long and therefore his wife again could not work. But in his wife's visa, nothing stated regarding her work right and only mentioned "No recourse to public funds and police registration".

According to the rules, it should be stated "No work". Then, he and his wife confused that if she has right to work?

I think that the ECO made a mistake and missed something. Then, if I am right, do you think it is neccessary to correct the endorsment?

yes you are right. she is NOT allowed to work. If she was allowed to work, it should say, " able to work as authorised by the secretary of state"
