Visa for my mother - General Visitors visa

Hi All,
Not sure if this is the right forum, but I am really stressed and will appreciate any guidance at all.

I have a feeling my travel agent has messed up big time when applying for my father's visa.

My dad applied for a tourist visa last year for holidays for which hotel and travel bookings were done. However, before he could travel my sister was transferred to UK to he deferred his visit, and visited after my sister went to UK. While he had stated that he will be staying in UK for 8 days, when he went to visit my sis, he stay for 2.5 months. he came back in Jan this year. We are planning to visit my sister in May this year, and am wondering if this history could have any adverse impact on his application.

No. As long as he stayed in UK legally.
