Visa granted?

Post by harryd1982 » Sun Jul 22, 2012 12:54 pm

Hi I am new to this forum, but I hope you can help us, and maybe we can help you.
My Peruvian fiance handed in her UK fiance visa application 2 weeks ago in Lima, we then recieved an email 2 days later saying it was being processed in Rio.
Well today we recieved this email, sent by Visainfo@fco.gov.uk

"Has been issued. Your documents will be dispatched the following working day. We want to hear your views on the service we provided, please complete our Customer Satisfaction Survey at: http://feedback.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/ ... 37412smumc''

Does this mean the visa been granted? seems a bit vague?

Thanks

Well i emailed Worldbridge and their reply was

"Dear Applicant,

Thank you for contacting WorldBridge Service, The UK Border Agency's Commercial Partner. We appreciate your patience regarding the response to your enquiry as WorldBridge strives to provide the most accurate responses to all enquiries. Below you will find the response to that enquiry.

No, the e-mail just informs you that your visa application has been processed. It does not confirm if a visa has been granted.

Emails from fco.gov.uk that say has been issued are a pósitive confirmation. Emails from Worldbridge that say has been processed are neutral as Worldbridge do not know the result themselves and are intermediaries.

You have your visa!
