Visa help

Post by Andamor » Wed Jul 10, 2024 6:10 pm

Hi everyone hope you all doing well.

I have submitted a spouse visa extension online, no kids, few days before it expires, then I fell a victim of domestic abuse before attending my biometrics appointment, I was given a case reference by the police and put on contact with victim support. I might go to a shelter, but I don’t know what visa should I apply for now. The victim support centre they said that they can give me a supporting letter.

Please let me know what I can do, I am so lost.

Since you've already made the application, have your biometrics done, and let it play out. If you move the goal post suddenly, that would affect you work permit/authorisation until you get things resolved.
After all, you're still legally married and he wouldn't be contacted either.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
