Visa info pls....

Hello All,

Urgent advice needed.....

I have received visa stamping instructions and have 1 month to send my passport to the Canadian High Commission.

Iam travelling on december 08 2006 to Dec 23 (15days) and my last date of submission of passport is Dec.17 2006. I cannot pospone my trip for some reason.

* My question is that can I submit my passport on DEC 24th, after Iam back from my trip as if i would submit the passport now (Nov 4) it would take 4weeks for stamping and iam afraid the pasport would not reach in time for my trip ie. Dec 8th.

* Will i get a grace period from the High commission or my visa orders would just expire and my file will close ?

* What is the usual time duration of submittion of passport that one gets after getting visa stamping instructions ?

* What is the procedure that High Commission follows if candidate fails to produce passport for stamping within the frame period of the date from visa instructions ?


Pls. kindly help me out with these questions...I will highly appericate your advice.
