L1 Visa questions

Hi

I have the following situation with my status.

I am under L1B visa status, my visa expires in May 2009, my questions are :

1) I am currently working as specialized knowledge, but doing some supervisory work (I didn't do supervisory work) abroad. Can I change the status from L1B to L1A.

2) Can I move to other company under H1 visa as a Manager and get the permanent residence faster. How many time am I allow to stay in the USA working under the H1 visa counting the L1B years and waiting for the permanet residence.

3) What do I need to do to get the H1 visa from the other employeer.

4) Can my wife under L2 visa apply for the permanent residence and also can my wife get a H1 visa from her current employeer.

5) Can I change from L1B to H1 visa in the same company (how many additional years can I stay).
