Visa Requirements for a EU citizen Spouse Moving to the UKthe UK

Good afternoon everyone,
I am seeking your support regarding the following matter.

To provide a brief overview, I am a British citizen and will be getting married in four months. My future wife is a German citizen from an EU country, and our plan is for her to relocate and reside in the UK after our marriage.

I would like to know if she requires a visa for this purpose. If so, is it called a spouse visa? Could you also provide information on the costs associated with a spouse visa? Lastly, I would appreciate guidance on the best time to apply for the visa, if it is indeed necessary.

Your spouse requires a spouse visa. You can apply at anytime, provided you meet all the requirements. Read the below first and ask questions on parts that isn't clear.

If your future wife has no residency status in the UK (as EU citizen) then she needs a spouse visa.
Start here: https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa/partner-spouse
The visa fee is is around £1500 then there's also the IHS - Immigration Health Surcharge of £624 per year https://www.gov.uk/healthcare-immigration-application. Note the IHS is a sort of tax - you don't get anything extra for it.
You will need to satisfy a minimum earnings level of around £18,500.
Note this is not a one-time application - as I understand it an extension will have to be applied for to reach the 5 years residency required for obtaining Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) - https://www.gov.uk/indefinite-leave-to-remain-family.
