Visit visa to UK for Bangladeshi national

I would like to know if I could apply for my cousin to visit the UK. I have my own house with accommodation and I'm a permanent employee working as a part time teacher for over 13 years. I'm due to go back to work full time in September, do I have to wait and work in a full time basis before I can sponsor him to visit the UK or can I sponsor him now.?
Would appreciate your help
