visit visa for mum

Hi, i need some advice. Firstly i came in uk as student but got married a year ago and got my 2 years residence permit. Now am expecting in 2 months time. I want my mother to be here with me. I stay with my inlaws. Some one has adviced me to get a letter from GP and send a sponcor letter. But than some one else has adviced that my mum should not state my maternity condition in the application form once she apply from middleeast. I wana know whats best i can do so that she can be here with me. She will be coming here 4 3 weeks only. My parents couldnot make on my wedding, hence i want my mum to be here on my very important day. can someone help me.
