You can apply by yourself.nmse77 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2024 11:57 amHi,
I want to invite and sponsor 2 people from pakistan for my sons wedding this coming summer.
I will be responsible for all costs during their stay here. Max stay will be one month.
Is it recommended to go through a solicitor for this application or will be ok to apply myself?
Thank you in advance.
The father should write a cover letter and mention that he would be sponsoring the trip for the whole family. That's nothing unusual.nmse77 wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2024 11:49 amI am about to create an application and would like to know if additional documents need to be provided were applicants are financially dependent on father/husband however some savings are available.
As the wedding is at the end of june and there is not much time left will it still be ok to mention this as part of the application. Ideally we hope they can make it in time for the wedding however they would still like to visit if it is missed.
Sorry what i meant was they are financially dependant on the father/husband when staying in pakistan. For this trip i will be covering all expenses. The dad will not be travelling.Ticktack wrote: ↑Fri May 10, 2024 9:49 amThe father should write a cover letter and mention that he would be sponsoring the trip for the whole family. Since the father is carrying the weight of the whole family, I'm hoping that he's financially robust enough. If dad's application fails, it mostly likely would affect the whole family.
my sister and her daughter. duration of stay 6 weeks.Ticktack wrote: ↑Fri May 10, 2024 10:16 amIf you don't mind me asking, who are they to you?
The ECO would be thinking why you want to spend so much money on someone that might not be directly related to you.
2nd cousins are going to be hard to evidence.
How much do you have liquid?
What's the father bringing to the table?
Why must they be at the wedding?
How long would they be around for?
Is spending all that money for such a short period worth it?
I prolly have a million questions in my head.
To put it mildly, what I find unusual is the cultural factor. Example: What is tenable in Paraguay might not be acceptable in Saudi Arabia.nmse77 wrote: ↑Fri May 10, 2024 12:12 pmmy sister and her daughter. duration of stay 6 weeks.Ticktack wrote: ↑Fri May 10, 2024 10:16 amIf you don't mind me asking, who are they to you?

i have 15K in my account currently.
As it's their nephew wedding they would like to attend it.
I'm not quite sure what you find so unusual about this application.
