Visit visa, requirements

Post by wunder » Tue Sep 28, 2010 1:22 am

I need advice...

I want to visit Ireland in a couple of months for 2 days - fly to Dublin in the afternoon of day 1, attend a theatre play, and fly back early in the morning of day 2.

I have a ticket for the play, airplane tickets, booked a hotel (even though I probably won't stay in there, not enough time), I have bank statements, letter from employer, etc.

But since nobody invited me, I obviously don't have an invitation. Would that be a problem? Or is a performance ticket a good enough 'invitation'?

It all depends where you are from, what you do for living and more importantly your travel history. In the light of the above i think you have all the stuff someone need to get a short stay visitors visa. Apply in the Irish embassy in the country you are residing at present.
