Visiting UK to see my wife

Post by RyanKhan » Sat Jun 07, 2014 3:23 pm

Hello guys,

I wonder if anyone can help me out in this matter. My wife is a British Citizen (Married Since 4.5 Years in UK). I had to come back to my home country after I completed my studies in the UK. Since then my wife stays with me but goes back time after time to meet her family. Last time she left was Dec 2013 and its been nearly 6months we haven't seen each other and she is unable to come back and join me because her mother is very ill and she (my wife) is the only one to take care of her.

I am planning to visit her in the UK for a couple of weeks and to do that I am thinking to apply for a Family Visit Visa in which my spouse will be the sponsor; Question is, what are my chances to get a visa ? we are not willing to apply for a spousal visa at this time because of its income threshold case going on.

Also, what duration of the bank statement I provide should be ? Can it be an account statement for financial organisations such as payoneer as well? because Im a freelance developer (Software) all my payments are processed and transferred to Payoneer, western union or Skrill MonerBookers and I can easily withdraw them form here.

Also what other ties can I show with my country to give the UKVI a proof that I will return back at the end of my stay in the UK?

Anyone who has been through the process and has any idea on what I should or can do, please leave a reply.

Thanking all of you in advance :)
