UK Visitor visa process

Dear Immigration gurus, my parents visited the UK from India last in 2020 and were granted a visitor visa. Now I am planning to invite my mom again to stay a month in here.

Has the application process changed similar to the ILR and skilled worker visa process , where we can upload most of the documents online? Or is it still the same one - we print all the documents and the VFS office will scan the docs during the biometrics process.

Supporting documents are uploaded online before biometrics appointment.
