Hi there,
I am an Indian passport holder currently residing in Canada.
When filling out the visitor visa application for UK there is a section which requires Your Identity Card, where it asks for your "National ID card number" and "Issuing authority."
On the first page I filled the details of my Vancouver issued Indian passport.
On the second page, should I be filling my BCID details(Canadian Id) or PAN/Aadhar card(Indian id) details?
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards
Lucas

Hi Friends,
Would really appreciate your help with a couple of questions regarding Standard Visitor Visa.
I am a professional and my wife is an homemaker.
1. Do we need to attach our flight tickets (onwards and return) or hotel booking details to the application?
2. Do we need a travel insurance?
3. Do we need to go through PCR test to travel to UK from Canada?
4. Do we need any other documents than specified below?
My Documents:
Passports (new and old)
PR card
Bank statements (6 months)
Employment letter
Rental agreement
Hydro bills (3 months)
Marriage Cetificate
Wife's passport
Wife's Documents:
Passport
PR card
Rental agreement
Marriage Certificate
My bank statements
My employment letter
My passports
Thanks for your help.
Kind Regards

Passport details is fine, you don't need to add ID card details.

this one to the application?
Ticket Not required, but hotel booking details are very essential.
2. Do we need a travel insurance?
Yes would need, but not a requirement for visa issuance. For your own rest of mind, it would be needed when you do intend to travel.
3. Do we need to go through PCR test to travel to UK from Canada?
Nope
4. Do we need any other documents than specified below?
My Documents:
Passports (new and old)
Just current.
PR card
Bank statements (6 months)
And payslips.6 months.
Employment letter
Rental agreement
Not required, but you could add it. Don't see any harm in that.
Hydro bills (3 months)
Marriage Cetificate
Wife's passport
Wife's Documents:
Passport
PR card
Rental agreement
Marriage Certificate
My bank statements
My employment letter
My passports
Thanks for your help.
Kind Regards
Looks good to me!
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

Thank you for your response Ticktack. Much appreciated.
Do I also need to attach an invitation/sponsor letter for my wife? Since she will be depending on me for all the expenses?
Thanks again

Nope you don't need one. Your documents would cover your wife. They can tell that you're a couple and travelling together.
On a lighter note, your money is her money.
