Visitor Visa

Hi Everybody,

My friend wants to apply for 3 months Student Visitor visa to come to the UK and attend an English language course.

His main reason is his future application for PR in Australia. He has not submitted his application but wants to do so in coming months. Meanwhile, he wants to improve his english language ability before immigrating to Australia.

I guess his application for Australian PR is a good reason for visa officer that he will leave the UK at the end of his course. Some of his friends told him the opposite but according to the visitor visa grant and refusal cases, it seems having an immigration case for another country (especially an intention to apply for PR visa) is a good indication of intention to leave.

I'd appreciate any help or comment on this issue.

hi is definitely not sure as no one can be sure about it.

There are reasons to study in the UK instead of Australia: he only wants to come to UK for a three months course. at the same time he is going to submit his PR application and he does not want to have two parallel applications for Australia. Moreover, UK is much more famous country in regard to English language education.

My question was if such reasons are good signs of intention to leave the UK at the end of study? If he had PR he would go to Australia to study English, but the process takes 1-2 years and he wants to use this opportunity to improve his English abilities.
