i came to the UK on a visitors visa in 2003,and i never renewed it ,so i have overstayed since then,now i want to go back home so is there anyone with any information on how and where i can get assistance to go home.I am not working so i cant afford to buy an air ticket,i have tried the IOM but they said they cant help coz they can only help families and failed asylum seekers,any help will be appreciated,thanks

im sure you can just declare yourself as an illegal immigrant to the police they should put you in touch the correct channels or try your local citizensadvice bureau
