Hello,
Under the EEA rules children up to the age 21 (and sometimes older if you can prove that you have lived under one roof and that they still dependant on you) of non-EEA citizens (you) who are dependents of the EEA citizens (your husband) can join their parents in the UK.
The switch is even possible when your son arrived into the UK as a visitior. What I mean is that when he comes to the UK his passport will be stamped with sort of 6 months leave to remain visa (stamp). You will need certain preparation and documents as well as completing at least one EEA2 application form.
All the above will depend upon your husband's economical activity in the UK, that is whether he is working = exersing EEA Right of Free Movement.
Regards,
Anton
