WCATT and UK Immigration

Post by room1102 » Mon Dec 06, 2010 6:13 pm

I have been granted WCATT recently. I am a holder of Australian Passport but no UK Ancestry. Does anyone know if I go study in UK, would I still need a student visa since I have WCATT from Ireland?

Cheers

Yes you do, because WCATT is an Irish stamp to live and work in Republic of Ireland, as you are a Non-EU you would require student visa to study in UK.

As per fatty patty, any permission to reside in Ireland given to you by the Irish authorities has nowt to do with the UK. Sorry. Consider applying for naturalisation?
