what are the benifits of having EEA permanent residence card

what are the benifits of having EEA permanent residence card

Hello everyone , I am an EU nationalwith uk permanent residence card and my husband is non eu national holding eea 2 5 years .
My question is what are the benifits for him for having permanent residence card .I was planning to apply for british passport but i want to know better which is more helpful for my husband because i am worried if i switch to british citizenship so i need to prove £18,200 or whtever which am not earning .. so help me out

the 18K threshold is mainly to sponsor a non EU to come into UK( he/she will be physically out side UK in most cases)
i don't know how long left for your husband to complete his 5 years residence here but for you to apply and obtain a BC will probably make it easier for him as he can apply for BC himself on the same day he receives his PR card.
in all cases, if you become British before he completes his 5 years residency ( and you still hold your original European nationality), then it should be fine and straight forward case.

i am sure one of the moderators or more senior members will add a more comprehensive advise shortly.

but in case if our relation goes finish so still he will eligible for permanent stay as we married more than 3 years ..

yes, he can still secure a PR.
he will need to apply then for something called ROR (Retain of Rights) to secure his legal status if you both get divorced in due course.
