what are the chances my Tier 2 visa may be refused?

Post by christina464 » Tue May 10, 2011 8:14 am

I had gap year during my student visa in 2007 due to financial problem and I also worked in UK at the same time, roughly 20 hours but sometimes may have more than that. I did went back to Uni in 2008 and am about to finishing my degree next month. It's not that I came here only for work not study, but because of the unforeseen circumstances.

Now I got a job offer in UK, and my employer is dealing with my Tier 2 work permit. But I am bit worried that because of I worked during my gap year, my work permit may potentially be refused? Should I consult an immigration lawyer about this?

Thank you for any advices.
