I got EC today, What is my HSMP File Number

EC on my passport shows

a number in Red at the top

and VAF No is also mentioned.

The Red number mentioned on EC is the HSMP File Number ? OR

This is the reference number mentioned on HSMP approval letter.

The reason why i am asking this , it seems like this number is refered a lot in everything related to visa issues of hsmp holder. so i want to be sure whats my HSMP file Number

The reference number on the HSMP approval letter.
