What visa for coming over as a spouse?

Post by Modgonne » Sat Oct 10, 2009 5:02 pm

They seem to have re-arranged / changed the visa forms aboout.

As a US national applying from the US to come over and settle with a British citizen as a spouse, what visa form do I use? Do I apply online?

The fee is £585.
..... payable in local currency .... as defined by the relevant British Mission (and often people are not terribly pleased by the rate of exchange they use).
