Post by a1b4 » Sun Apr 03, 2005 2:08 pm

I applied Hsmp over 28 last month and my application recieved on 30-03-2005 by home office. There is no deduction from credit card till now.
The matter is.............I allowed them to deduct 150 pounds which they could not do and now the fee is 315 pounds !!!!!!!!!!! Will they reject my application and send it back or.........advise me, please!!!!!

look at this http://www.workingintheuk.gov.uk/workin ... ve_to.html?

Applications sent before the revised fees are introduced at 12.01 am on 1 April 2005 will not incur the revised fees of 315 GBP for a HSMP application and 335 GBP for IED/LTR application. In disputed cases, WorkPermits(UK) will need to be satisfied that the application was submitted before this date and would require evidence to confirm the situation. In all cases, it should be noted that the date the application was signed does not prove the date the application was submitted.

Postal Application
Normally, the postmark on the envelope would ascertain the date the application was submitted. You may wish to consider using registered, recorded or special delivery. In all cases, those postmarks showing the the application was posted on or before 31 March 2005, but received by us after that date will be dealt with at the old fee level..

Hope this helps!!
