I was just wondering what anyone thinks of our chances of getting our monther in law over for a visit. She attends the visa application centre tomorrow.
I know the consulate are interested in her being able to fund her trip and will return to her country.... my husband is the sponsor for her trip as she has no income (have sent all our documents for her to take tomorrow). I dont think she wiull be refused on funding grounds but for returning back home i dont know if they will refuse her for that....
She is an elderly widow, stays in a remote village on her own, doesnt own the house so had no documents to send for the house (another family memeber owns the house)... she doesnt work...
What i did was write a letter to say my husband went through all visa processes and never breached any immigration laws and would guarantee she will not either... and also said she needs to return to look after the family home...and she would miss her family over there (her sons, daughters and grandchildren)
I dont know, do u think we would still have a decent chance?
