When to apply for Tier 2 Dependent Visa

Hi all,

I was hoping to get advise in terms of visa application.

I am currently a GP in training and finishing my training in the 1st week of August.

I had 4 years of tier 4 for studying at a medical school here followed by 2 years of tier 4 for foundation training and 3 years of tier 2 for GP training. I am then looking to apply for dependent visa under my wife who is on tier 2 but not ILR for another year before applying for ILR under the 10 years route.

I was not sure when I can apply for dependent visa because my understanding is that you are not allow to be a doctor in training on dependent visa. My visa runs out one week after I officially finish my training. I wonder whether I could apply earlier so that I have a visa to start working after completing my training.
